Unchained and I went out this evening, planning on seeing Kingdom of Heaven. Our plans were changed when we discovered this movie was playing beside Jane Fonda's Monster in Law (check out the "Jane Fonda" thread for a little background).
We turned around, went to Wise and saw Kicking and Screaming instead, which was a nice, entertaining movie. If you go see it, we think you'll particularly like the "meat truck" scene. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Our Military personnel have fought wars to give that particular business the privelege of making money from what i totally disagree with....
Those same men (thankfully) also fought for my right to turn around and spend my time in a seperate building and not have to be NEAR the movie.
Thank God we had/have these folks who sacrificed so much to allow us the right to choose.

pretty good movie, i love will ferrell....the man is absolutely hilarious.............meat truck was a pretty good scene.......overall good movie
I went and caught a later showing of this movie tonight as well, and loved it!
I was a little skeptical about a Will Ferrell movie w/ a PG rating, but i wasn't disappointed. The meat truck scene was funny, but i lost it when he pushed down the little kid on the other team....i couldn't handle it!
Did you ever see the clip of the pee nut football coach who tackled the kid on the other team as he broke lose?
On a humorous note now: Did anyone ever see the old snl skits with Ferrel and he was the dad who yelled? Like they were at a little league and he kept yelling at his kid to get back on the base and then started shouting profanities at him and threatened to beat him? It was pretty funny.

Leaving to go to Wise because of the Jane Fonda movie makes no sense. The same people own both movie theaters so you were still giving them your money.
The test is simple, if "your" team wins a national championship, do you get a championship ring? If the answer is yes, then you can say "we." If not, you can't.
There is a big difference in supporting a business owner and supporting Hanoi Jane. I applaude elp6n and Unchained.

That wasn't my point. They weren't supporting her to begin with, they were going to see Kingdom of Heaven. How would sitting in a movie theatre beside of her film support her in any way?
